Safety Guidlines 

1. Site selection: The area selected for the site should be flat, open and clear of debris. There should not be overhead or underground obstructions (Renter should contact Okie811 to prevent any possible damages). If the inflatable has open sides, ensure there is ample room around the inflatable should a participant fall out.

2. Trip Hazards: In order to minimize trip hazards associated with inflatable equipment, cords will be covered by a yellow jacket (or similar) and stakes covered by tennis balls (or otherwise marked and covered).

3. Supervision: Constant and reliable supervision of the inflatable games is paramount in maintaining a safe event. Supervision of the inflatable games is the sole responsibility of the organization/renter holding the event. All people supervising the inflatables must understand the safety rules for the inflatables and must be willing to enforce the rules as necessary. It is specifically important to enforce no horseplay and no overcrowding.

a. A minimum of 2 supervisors should be assigned at all times to large (greater than 15’ high slides). Other inflatables should have a minimum of one supervisor.

4. Inclement Weather: Have a plan in place to monitor the weather and to react should inclement weather occurs. In case of a thunderstorm, or if winds should exceed 15-20 mph, the blowers should be disconnected and the inflatables allowed to deflate. No inflatable will be erected and utilized if wind exceeds 15 mph *580 Bounce House & More reserves the right to discontinue an event in all cases of inclement weather.

5. Safety Rules: Prior to the event, a representative of 580 Bounce House & More along with the renter will collectively communicate what specific safety rules apply to the inflatables being used for the event. In addition, inflatables come with labels that give safety instructions for the equipment. This information should be reviewed with the inflatable supervisors and enforced during the event. Additionally, the following are general rules that should be followed:

             a. No horseplay, flips or wrestling. Use the inflatable for the purpose for which it was designed.

             b. Shoes, necklaces, eyeglasses and any other sharp objects should be removed prior to entering the inflatable. 

             c. Inflatables using water (water slides for example): Water and electricity mix very poorly together. Ensure renter keeps the power supply to the blower far enough from                       the water supply so that the power cords, junction boxes, blowers, and any other electrical components does not come in contact with the water from the games.

 d. “Boxing” inflatable: Participants in “boxing” matches must wear head gear & gloves (supplied by 580 Bounce House & More). The planners of the event should also             have a plan for the boxing matches that include rules of engagement, how long is a round, how many rounds in a match, what constitutes a win, etc.

6. Incident Reporting: Should an accident occur the first priority is to get prompt medical care for the injured person. If medical assistance is needed, call 911.

            a. All incidents must be reported to 580 Bounce House & More via Incident Report form. The form can be found on the company’s website.

You are solely responsible for determining if you or your minor child/ward is physically fit and/or adequately skilled for use of the above identified rental equipment. You are further responsible for supervising any and all use of the equipment and ensuring that it is being used properly and in accordance with any instructions provided. 

Renter acknowledges and agrees that that Renter takes the equipment and each part thereof “as-is” and that 580 Bounce House & more has not made, and does not hereby make, any representation, warranty, or covenant, express or implied, with respect to the merchantability, condition, quality, durability, design, operation, fitness for use, or suitability of the equipment in any respect whatsoever or in connection with or for the purposes and uses of renter, or as to the absence of latent or other defects whether or not discoverable, or as to any obligation based on strict liability in tort or any other representation, warranty, or covenant of any kind or character, express or implied, with respect thereto, it being agreed that all risks incident thereto are to be borne by Renter and Owner shall not be obligated or liable for actual, incidental, consequential, or other damages of or to buyer or other person or entity arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the equipment and the maintenance thereof. 

All rental equipment is intended for use and/or operation by the party identified above. 580 Bounce House & more does not permit, authorize, or intend use or operations by any other party. 

*WAIVER & RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNIFICATION

Please read this form carefully and be aware that in consideration for renting the above equipment, you will be waiving and releasing any and all claims for injuries you or your minor child/ward might sustain arising out of use of the equipment, including any activity associated with or connected with use of the above equipment.

I have inspected said equipment and acknowledge that upon receipt it is in good working order with no defects or abnormalities. I understand and agree that BFPD is not providing supervision or instruction in the use of said equipment and that I am solely responsible for determining the appropriateness of the equipment for any intended use. Further, I agree to be responsible for any damage to the equipment, except ordinary wear and tear. 

I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to persons using this equipment, and I voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that my minor child/ward or I may sustain as a result of this rental agreement. I further agree to waive and relinquish all claims I or my minor child/ward may have (or accrue to me or my child/ward) arising out of use of this equipment against 580 Bounce House & more, including its officials, agents, volunteers and employees (collectively). 

 I hereby fully and forever waive, release and relinquish any and all claims, demands and actions whatsoever that I or my minor child/ward may have against 580 Bounce House & more and arising out of, connected with, incidental to, or in any way associated with this agreement. 

I further agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend 580 Bounce House & more from any and all third party claims and actions resulting from injuries, damages and losses arising out of, connected with, or in any way associated with this agreement.
